Hareth Optics Company ("Hareth Express", "we", "us", or "our") operates a suite of delivery management products serving drivers, operations teams, and business administrators across Kuwait. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information across all three of our platforms.
By using any of our products, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Hareth Express App
Mobile application for delivery drivers to receive, accept, and complete delivery orders in real time.
Command Center
Web-based operations portal for dispatch teams and administrators to manage orders, drivers, and analytics.
DriveCheck
Driver onboarding and verification platform for reviewing applications, documents, and eligibility status.

Data Use
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only for legitimate operational and legal purposes:
- To match delivery orders with the nearest available driver and broadcast assignment requests.
- To provide real-time order tracking to operations teams and customers.
- To calculate and process driver earnings, COD reconciliation, and wallet payouts.
- To verify driver identity and eligibility during onboarding via DriveCheck.
- To maintain platform security, detect fraud, and prevent unauthorized access.
- To generate operational analytics and performance reports for business improvement.
- To communicate service updates, account notices, and order notifications.
- To comply with applicable laws and regulations in Kuwait.
Location
Location Data & GPS Tracking
The Hareth Express driver app collects your precise GPS location while the app is in use. Location data is used exclusively for:
- Finding and assigning nearby delivery orders based on distance from the pickup point.
- Displaying your live position to the operations Command Center during active deliveries.
- Calculating route distance and estimated delivery time (ETA) for each order.
- Generating delivery heatmaps and zone analytics for operational planning.
Background location: Location is collected in the foreground while the app is open and you are logged in. We do not collect location when you are logged out or have closed the app. You may revoke location permission through your device settings at any time, though this will prevent order assignment.
Third Parties
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- Within the platform: Driver name and phone number are shared with the customer for the purposes of completing their delivery.
- Operations team: Dispatchers using Command Center can view driver location, status, and order details to manage deliveries.
- Odoo ERP: Order assignment events are sent to our integrated Odoo system to keep inventory and order records synchronized.
- Shopify: Order data originates from our Shopify store. No personal data is sent back beyond what is required for order fulfillment.
- Google Maps: Map display and route calculation use the Google Maps API. Location coordinates are transmitted to Google subject to their privacy policy.
- Legal obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or government authority in Kuwait.
Retention
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services:

Security
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:
- All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections.
- Our servers are hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure with access controls and monitoring.
- Access to the Command Center and DriveCheck platforms requires authenticated credentials and role-based permissions.
- Driver accounts are protected by JWT-based authentication tokens with expiry limits.
- We regularly review access logs and security configurations to detect unauthorized activity.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to log out when not in use.

Access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction
Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion
Request deletion of your account and data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Portability
Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Withdraw consent for location tracking by revoking app permissions at any time.

Object to certain types of data processing where we rely on legitimate interests.

Children
Children's Privacy
Our products are intended for use by adults (18 years and older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that information.
Updates
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will notify users through the app or via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of our products after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
